British Pakistani people going to the state and quarantining at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel close to Heathrow Airport have complained over the absence of services mainly during the holy month of Ramadan.

The travelers complaint of non-provision of food at the time of Sehri and Iftar as well as not being able to get three meals a day as promised.

Hasnain Sheikh, who talked while representing around 19 Pakistani families, explaining the terrible situation at the hotel in a video message.

“It’s a basic human rights issue. People have not received food for the three meals that were contractually supposed to be provided to the families. The food that has been delivered has not been on time. Moreover, we are in the midst of the Holy Month of Ramadan. There are people who have fasted without receiving any food at all,” Shiekh mentioned.

He lamented that the kids at the quarantine center were given cold food while others also protested of food poisoning.

Several other problems were emphasized by other Pakistanis who protested of several difficulties, bringing in light the incompetence of the hotel administration.

Sheikh stated that the reason behind making the video was to call to the thoughtfulness of the UK government establishments towards the circumstances of the returning travellers, which he said are intolerable.
