This week will see the second solar eclipse of the year, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The annular eclipse of the sun will take place on October 14 and 15, according to the PMD’s Climate Data Processing Centre. Pakistan will not be able to see the eclipse.

The Yucatán Peninsula in southwest Mexico and a number of Central American nations, including Belize, Honduras, and Panama, will be able to see some of the eclipse. After there, it will traverse much of central Colombia and northern Brazil before ending in the Atlantic Ocean just off Natal, Brazil, according to the announcement from the government.

It said that the total eclipse would conclude at 00:49 PST on October 15 and the partial eclipse will end at 01:55 PST. The partial eclipse will start at 20:04 PST, the total eclipse at 21:10 PST, and the great eclipse will happen at 10:59 PST.

This solar eclipse, according to astronomers, is known as the “Ring of Fire” because when one of these eclipses happens, the Moon can’t totally block out the Sun, leaving the outside portion of the Sun visible like a ring of fire.
