The movie Jawan, starring Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, became the first Hindi film to gross more than INR 384 Crore in just three days, but critics aren’t happy about it for a particular reason!
On September 7, Jawan was released worldwide and managed to make waves. However, some moviegoers have alleged that Khan’s most recent action film is a parody of vintage South Indian films.
On social media, people claim that Khan’s Jawan is a combination of the 1989 film Thaai Naadu, which starred Sathyaraj in a dual role similar to Khan’s father and son in Jawan, and the Ajith Kumar starrer Arrambam. R. Aravindraj was the film’s director.
Indian media reports that internet users compared the films and discovered many similarities.
Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra are some of the other actors who appear in Jawan in addition to Khan. Jawan, a film with a special appearance by Deepika Padukone, was made available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
