The annual event is scheduled for September 5–7.
On Sunday, interim Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the Urs preparations for Sufi saint Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA).
On September 5, the three-day Urs celebrations will begin, and a sizable number of devotees are anticipated to attend.
The celebrations will include Mehfil-e-Sama, milk sabeel, Naatia Mushaira, and special lectures.
The CM gave the order to make elaborate Urs preparations. He gave the go-ahead for the installation of a sound system and SMD screens for the followers.
He instructed the officials to set up the Langarkhana and stated that the security and traffic plan needed to be followed exactly.
He argued that there should be constant, close coordination between law enforcement agencies.
The chief minister was briefed by the Lahore CCPO on the security plan after hearing from the Auqaf secretary about preparations being made for the Urs.
