In a situation of strict coronavirus restrictions, Pakistanis are celebrating Eidul Fitr with a wave of happiness and festivity.
Eid is being celebrated this year on the same day all over Pakistan, which doesn’t happen quite often.
The occasion initiated with Eid prayers being offered at mosques and eidgahs in different regions and areas of Pakistan.
Special prayers were offered for the welfare of the country while in sermons the Ulema emphasized on the importance of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Special prayers were also offered for Muslims in Palestine and Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) where oppressors are making people a victim of violence and rough treatment.
Amidst all this, distinct precaution was taken to make sure Eid worshipers were held in vast places in all chief cities and towns due to coronavirus outbursts.
The mosques have given the orders to take care of strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to confirm the presence of social distancing.
Furthermore, security has been doubled up in different parts of the country, the federal capital also being a part of it to dodge any unfortunate incident on a fortunate occasion.
