Nearing the completion of the first half of Ramadan, Pakistanis are wondering when they will celebrate Eid ul Fitr in 2024.
Online reports quoting Met Dep officials stated that the Islamic festival will be celebrated across six holidays for the people of South Asia.
According to the forecast, April 10 is when Eidul Fitr is anticipated to take place. This year, 29 fasts are anticipated to be observed by Pakistanis. The first day of the Eid festivities is called “Chand Raat.”
According to the source, the administration would declare four holidays between April 9 and April 12, with the weekend in between. In the meantime, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) and other pertinent departments would be consulted before a final decision about the holiday schedule was reached.
The Cabinet Division’s list indicates that April 10–April 12 are designated as Eid holidays. Pakistanis would have five vacations if the administration stuck to the same timetable.
