In a message on World Plastic Bag Free Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that today we renew our commitment to eliminate the use of plastic bags across the province. She said that plastic pollution is a major environmental threat. And it is our responsibility to take decisive action to solve this problem, support the government in ensuring the implementation of the law banning the production, sale and use of urban plastic bags. Maryam Nawaz said that our aim is to Punjab. The Chief Minister Punjab further said that citizens should use biodegradable bags instead of plastic bags, the harmful effects of plastic on our health and environment cannot be ignored, the environmental impact can be significantly reduced by adopting eco-friendly alternatives.
