To bring ease to the citizens, National Database and registration authority (NADRA) and Federal Excise and Taxation Department (ET&D) has teamed up to provide a service of doorstep vehicle registration.
Announced by the Office of deputy commissioner via their social media, the purpose of this service is to encourage more vehicle owners to get their vehicles registered so that there would be lesser unregistered automobiles.
A member from both department i.e. ET&D and NADRA will appear on the doorstep of the specific vehicle owner and get the registration process done.
Earlier the announcement for this service was made this year in May during the massive outbreak of coronavirus so that people would not have to come to the office physically rather their vehicles would be registered in government database by siting at home in safer premises.
