Secretary Food Punjab has suspended Deputy Director Lahore on the issue of wrong reporting of data in flour prices.
According to the notification, disciplinary action has also been initiated against the Deputy Director Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Multan. The notification has been issued to appoint the Deputy Director Sargodha as the Deputy Director Lahore. The Deputy Director Gujarat has also been transferred, according to the notification. Action has been taken on incompetence, negligence and violation of orders, according to Secretary Food Punjab, there is no room for incompetent and lazy officers in the department.
Secretary Food Moazzam Iqbal said that no officer or staff will be allowed to spoil the reputation of the department. According to the notification, no obstacle will be tolerated in the way of public relief.
