Cyber-crime wing of Federal Investigation agency (FIA) has registered a case against singer Meesha Shafi and eight others along with her for an alleged defaming case against singer/actor Ali Zafar.
Reportedly the case has been registered against there following individuals:
- Meesha Shafi
- Iffat Omer
- Leena Ghnai
- Ali Gul Pir
- Syed Faizan Raza
- Haseemuz Zaman Khan
- Humna Raza
Under section 20 of prevention of electronic crimes act 2016, the FIR has been registered. It states that the individuals involved did not appear for the court hearing even after being summoned multiple of times.
According to the FIR, Meesha Shafi was not successful in proving and defending her allegations. All the claims made were unsatisfactory.
