Punjab chief minister’s adviser Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has become another significant personality after former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar’s in the pattern of criticizing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021’s official anthem, “Groove mera”
The official anthem for PSL 2021 features Veteran singer Naseebo Lal, 25-year-old Aima Baig, and rapper duo Young Stunners. After the song was release there mixed reactions on the internet. Some liked the song and appreciated it whereas some didn’t and hence criticized it.
Among these critics was Shoaib Akhtar who took it to his Youtube channel and uploaded a video where he criticized the song quite harshly. His criticism was bashed by many.
After him, Firdous Ashiq Awan also said that she didn’t like the official anthem. “The PSL 2021 anthem could have been improved further”, she stated, further added that Naseebo Lal is Pakistan’s ‘laal,’ or much-loved.
Talking about Naseebo Laal being the lal of the country, she said: “The Lal should have been presented as a jewel and voice of the nation,”
