Google has brought a new update to the desktop version of Chrome and has updated it with version 88 that carries noteworthy new features to the browser.
According to the latest update, chrome will now be able to keep a check on the fact whether your password is secure or is it being stole by some source. If a user’s password has been compromised or stolen, chrome will not only immediately notify the user, it will also suggest some new strong password along with the alert.
This feature will be effective for only those passwords and accounts that a user has saved on the browser.
Version 88 also brings tab search which was formerly restricted to older versions of the browser on Chrome operating system. This feature will prove to be beneficial for those who always have a excess of tabs opened in their browser and then they are unable to find what they’re searching for. The feature allows you to search for any of the open tabs, but it requires manual activation from the settings so that it can be used.
Other than this one more update coming out with Chrome 88 is a small graphic update to Dark Mode. Chrome will now make the scroll bars dark in the browser’s settings menu if you have dark mode allowed in Windows. But sadly this is available for the browser’s settings menu only and web pages, even those that have option for dark mode, will still have to use the old scroll bar.
