PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has stated that the PTI-led government is a “curse” on public, as she condemned it for not controlling the coronavirus condition in the correct way.

“We want this curse (incumbent government) to end …. we can bear them, but people cannot,” the PML-N vice president stated as she talked at a press conference together with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider and other party heads.

Talking about O/A Level exams, Maryam said the government risked the lives of students’ by deciding to take the examinations at a stage when the coronavirus situation is getting worse in the country.

“Other countries in the region have opted for other ways to conduct the examinations, then why did this incompetent government put students in  harm’s way,” she asked.

This government hasn’t been successful to control coronavirus, imposition SOPs, or protection of people’s health, she said, further mentioning that there are no protection measures during Cambridge exams.

“[Rigging in the elections] would benefit India and it will be a move to deceive the people the Azad Kashmir,” the AJK prime minister stated, mentioning that the PML-N will not let anyone rig the elections.

“Everything will go in vain if elections are rigged,” he said.
