Government working to preserve environment for future generations; PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated today that the government was taking the essential measures to maintain the wellness of environment for the future generations. 

Imran khan was addressing the ceremony of “Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Program” during which he stated that it was a massive accomplishment for the government that it would be holding the next “World Environment Day” in Pakistan.

PM Imran Khan said it demonstrates that his government had taken steps to safeguard the environment, further mentioning that it was a disturbing indication that Pakistan was enlisted in the names of 10 countries that are most affected from climate change.

“Our efforts are directed towards providing a better and secured future to our coming generations,” he stated.

He also said that PTI led government had worked on a number of plans including that of the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami, formation of national parks, and renovation of wetlands and wildlife to attain that goal.

PM Khan said the results of climate change can be inverted if the government indicated determination.
