Facebook has officially launched a new feature Instagram named Reels in the US which allows users to record entertaining short videos. It is set to become global soon.
Tiktok responded to the tweet of this feature’s launch in a shady way.
Instagram wrote online “Hellooooo, Reels! Introducing a new way to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram,”
As this feature has a striking resemblance to the features of tikok, they had a response to intagram stating “well… this looks familiar”
People had different reactions to this new feature. Some reminded tiktok that they should rather worry about the banning issue they are facing while other mocked facebook for copying everything.
Reels is launching globally just adding the stories feature copied from SnapChat as TikTok, the giant of short video platforms with 800 million monthly users, is facing a complex concerns in many countries.
