Recently Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was involved in a bitter twitter soat with singer come actor, Diljit Dosanjh over the farmers protest currently going on. The argument started when Kangana had misidentified a woman from the protest as the protester from Shaheen Bagh, Bilkis Bano aka Shaheen Bhag dadi.
The woman, Mahinder Kaur was from Bhatinda, on her picture Kangana had written, Same Daadi available in Rs100. There was a sudden reaction to this tweet and when people told her that she had misidentified her and she’s not that dadi after which Kangana suddenly deleted her tweet.
The tweet had caught Diljit’s attention already upon which started that heated argument. People fixed up their Punjabi skills, opened google translator as the tweets kept coming from both sides and soon after this Diljit Dosanjh became a top twitter trend.
To Kangan’s tweet, Diljit responded, “Respected MAHINDER KAUR JI Ah Sunn La Ni With Proof @KanganaTeam Banda Ena V Ni Anna Hona Chaida.. Kush v Boli Turi jandi aa ..(Listen to this proof, @KanganaTeam. One should not be this blind. She keeps says anything),”
To which Kangana responded: “Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now.”
As the feud continued, the Punjabi twitter users came in to help with the translations for those who weren’t able to understand. Soon after Diljit started to trend on number one, after his name , translate was the word that started trending too.
The heated argument finally ended with Diljit telling Kangana that he supports the farmers and she should learn the etiquettes of talking about elders.
