Islamabad High Court has issued notices to Punjab Interior Department and others on the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
According to the private TV channel Express News, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard PTI founder’s request for a meeting without interference in Adiala Jail. The court issued notices to the Home Secretary, Defense Secretary, Superintendent Adiala Jail and Punjab Home Department and asked all the parties to respond by next week.
Imran Khan’s lawyer requested the court to allow PTI founder to meet the party leaders without interference and to stop the interference of major and colonel of intelligence agencies in the administrative matters of the jail. The court issued a notice and adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
