MG Pakistan has expanded its range of electric cars (EVs) with the formal unveiling of the MG4, which took place in Karachi.
There are two versions of the automobile available: the base model, dubbed “Excite,” and the top-tier model, called “Essence.”
Remember that it was first released as MG Mulan in China in June of this year?
About MG4.
Its strong engine, which can produce up to 200 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 NM, allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds.
The MG4 also has a floating 10.25-inch digital touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, vehicle-to-load capabilities, an MG Pilot active safety suite, and rear-wheel drive.
Regarding charging, the manufacturer states that a fast charger can charge a device from 10% to 80% capacity in about 35 minutes. Both variants of the MG4 come with different batteries and price tags.
The MG4 Excite is equipped with a 51 kWh battery, offers an impressive 350 km range, and is available at an eye-watering price tag of PKR 10,999,000 (excluding freight and withholding tax).
In a similar vein, MG4 Essence costs PKR 12,990,000 (without including freight or withholding tax). Its 64 kWh battery delivers an outstanding 450 km range, which should make it capable of inter-city travel if you stick to the motorways.
The MG4 is currently offered at every MG dealership in Pakistan.
