Zubair Ahmed has won from Glasgow South West, while Muhammad Yasin has also been elected as a member of the British Parliament in Bedford.
According to a DW report, in the 2021 census, Muslims accounted for 6.5 percent of the population in England and Wales. The Muslim population in Scotland is 119,872, which is 2.2% of the total population. Cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and Bradford are among the areas in the UK that have a large number of Muslim voters.
