The former Pakistani athlete revealed in the caption that she originally thought about giving her father the task of teaching Cain the first kalma, but she ultimately felt driven to do it herself.
A quick ceremony celebrating Cain’s conversion to Islam is captured on camera, with close friends and family in attendance.
“I’m here to share with you all a wonderful occasion that has had a profound impact on our lives. My love was gently guided to the path of Islam last month by fate.
“At first, I had imagined my father to perform this holy ceremony. But he (my dad) said I need to be the one doing it. I have to say that, knowing how much I still need to learn and grow in my own spiritual path, the weight of this request made me feel both excited and apprehensive. When I told my close friends about this, they said they would want to travel with Cain and me on this incredible journey.

We gathered, surrounded by our closest friends, to formally welcome Cain to Islam—a historic event that calls for support and joy. I was first apprehensive to post this personal achievement on social media, but I soon saw how important it was to include our cherished Instagram family in our happy testimony.
