Pakistan is among the countries celebrating International Women’s Day on Friday.
The purpose of the celebration is to honor women’s contributions to society, the economy, culture, and politics.
“Invest in women” is this year’s theme, which aims to expedite development.
There will be a lot of planned activities and events in relation to the day.
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the government would keep taking action to guarantee women’s equal rights and to give them access to employment and education.
In a speech on International Women’s Day, he remarked that it is important to acknowledge women’s contributions to society, the economy, culture, and politics and to provide them equal chances to play a meaningful part in advancing society.
He said that the government will keep pushing for women’s equal rights, protection, and access to equal chances for advancement and education.
