Inzamam-ul-Haq pushed for India’s visit to Pakistan in order to foster cricket diplomacy and a shared love of the sport between the two countries.
The former cricketer recently expressed the value of cricketing connections between India and Pakistan in an interview with the Indian media, reflecting the views of countless cricket fans in both countries. Inzamam-ul-Haq voiced his opinion that further matches between the two cricketing heavyweights would promote goodwill and fraternity between the neighbouring countries.
The head selector further stated that following Pakistan’s World Cup tour of India, Pakistan should make a trip to India.
Inzamam-ul-Haq praised the Pakistani team’s outstanding performance during the present ODI World Cup and credited their triumph to the team’s joint efforts. He emphasised the outstanding performances of Abdullah Shafiq and Mohammad Rizwan in the prior game, expressing hope for the team’s future if they continue to perform well.
Even though he has played multiple matches there, Inzamam-ul-Haq hasn’t been to India in a while. The renowned batter visited Amritsar, a lively city in Indian Punjab, while in India for the World Cup. He also stayed with the squad in Hyderabad.
