On Tuesday, Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi paid his condolences at the mausoleum of East Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a poet.
During his three-day visit to Pakistan, the visiting dignitary paid his respects at the mausoleum of the poet of the East and laid flowers there. He was in the capital of Punjab. Calling Iqbal’s poetry a bridge between two sides, he extolled its virtues.
Raisi also praised the kindness he experienced while visiting the federal capital.
He is greeted at the airport by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Cabinet members, and notable visitors.
Raisi is scheduled to go to Karachi today, where he will meet with high-ranking officials and see the Quaid-e-Azam tomb.
