Four people died in a car crash in Islamabad on Monday night after a car, apparently driven by the son of federal ombudswoman Kashmala Tariq, came right into another vehicle crashing it away on Srinagar Highway.
Yesterday a first information report was provided at the Ramna police station. According to that report five men, who were travelling from Mansehra to Islamabad to pen down a paper for the Anti-Narcotics Force, were coming on a Mehran which was knocked out by a Lexus at the G-11 traffic signal.
A motorcycle rider also got hit alongside and thus got injured; the FIR stated furthermore that the person driving the Lexus was actually the son of Federal Ombudswoman for Protection of Women against Harassment Kashmala Tariq.
The victims were saved by people who had got together at the location of the car crash and were taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims). Four of the travelers in the car died while one, who lodged the complaint in the FIR, was left injured.
The complainant stated that when the people in the surrounding rescued him, he heard that they were naming Kashmala Tariq’s son as the person who was driving the car that hit them.
