The Intermediate Examinations in the exam centers in Karachi have been postponed as a result of the heightened alert concerning Cyclone Biperjoy released by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). This information was communicated via an official notification from the Commissioner’s Office, Karachi Division.
The cyclone’s potential risks were highlighted by PMD’s alert, which prompted the government of Sindh to deploy preventative action to ensure the safety of the public. The scheduled exams, which were initially set for June 14 and 15, will now take place at a later time.
It is advisable for parents, pupils, and educational establishments to stay informed of any changes to the exam dates. The revised schedule and any further directions will be included in a formal announcement that will be made in due course by the Commissioner’s Office and the FBISE.
Similar to this, the Board of Higher Secondary Education has chosen to postpone the exam dates, while the Board of Secondary Education Karachi has decided to reschedule the exams that were originally scheduled for June 14 and 15. The University of Karachi has rescheduled its classes and exams for June 14.
Hyderabad’s class XI exams have also been postponed by three days. Additionally postponed were the sts exams administered by Karachi IBA University. A new date has also been set for Karachi’s grade one through grade four job tests. All impacted exams and tests’ new dates will be released at a subsequent date.
All Karachi Division residents are urged by the government to maintain vigilance and follow all rules and directives regarding the cyclone. The public’s safety is still the top concern, and necessary measures are being implemented to reduce any possible hazards related to the cyclone’s arrival.
