A few days ago, Infinix unveiled the Smart 8 Pro, but now we have information on the Smart 8 Plus as well. The majority of the features and pricing of these two phones are similar, while the Plus has a larger battery.
PriceOye and Daraz are two of the Pakistani websites that sell both phones.
The 6.6-inch IPS LCD on both phones features a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 720p. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of 500 nits.
The selfie camera punch-hole cutout serves as a magic ring for quick alerts and screen-top information, much like a dynamic island. On the side above the power button is the fingerprint sensor.
Software and internals
The two phones have the same MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, but each has a different RAM configuration. While the Pro model offers 8 GB of RAM along with shared 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, the Smart 8 Plus is only capable of 4 GB of RAM.
Since the phones are low-cost devices, they are powered by the resource-efficient Android 13 Go. The exclusive XOS 13 skin from Infinix takes care of this.
Cameras:
The camera configurations are exactly the same, with a 50MP primary lens combined with an “AI lens,” according to Infinix. The 8MP selfie camera has a punch-hole design. The ability to capture videos is still unknown; however, it will probably be restricted to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Pricing and battery
Another feature that sets the two phones apart is the battery. The Plus variant outperforms the Pro with a larger 6,000 mAh battery with 18W wired charging, but the Pro already has a substantial 5,000 mAh cell (10W wired charging).
In Pakistan, the cost of the Infinix Smart 8 Plus and Pro is around Rs. 25,000.
