Recently Asif Magsi’s long jump video went viral on social media. Two different videos came on the platform. One where he is seen jumping over 11 motorbikes and in the other video he is jumping over a water canal. He is Thatta-based fisherman who has athletic talent.
He was praised by many including the legendary track and field athlete Carl Lewis. He said that Asif has the right temperament and attitude to be a professional athlete.
After his videos went viral, he has now been recruited by the Pakistan army.
Along with the recruitment in Pakistan army, he has also been contracted earlier by the Pakistan’s athletic federation to be trained alongside leading professional coaches.
It was reported by ARY that Asif will join Pakistan Army athletics instead of Pakistan’s athletic federation.
