Markets to remain open all day long in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has permitted shopping malls and markets to remain open 24 hours a day in order to decrease the rushing amount of customers in shopping spaces, said the representative for the Saudi Ministry of Commerce.

He mentioned that violations of coronavirus standard operating procedures won’t be tolerated and measures will be taken against those who will be seen breaching the protocols and restrictions to curb the virus.

In the meantime, the Saudi Interior Ministry has stated that Saudi inhabitants who have been inoculated against the coronavirus will be permitted to travel from May 17.

Based on the info from the Interior Ministry, the ban on Saudi people flying abroad will be taken up from 1pm on May 17.

Saudi Arabia has reported 419,3h48  cases with the worldwide coronavirus in the Gulf country so far, whereas 6,979 people have been dead after suffering from the virus so far.
