Calling Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin’s budget good, Chairman Nishat Group Mian Muhammad Mansha has said that he has high hopes in regard to the budget presented this year by the government.
While talking during an interview he said that government’s development policy was a optimistic measure and the commercial community as well as the government officials would have to take the economy mutually towards advancement and revealed that he hopes that the progress rate might even move up to 4%. He said Pakistan did far well than many countries in the Covid-19 pandemic. He said better decisions were made by the government to cope with the pandemic, which facilitated to keep maintain the situation. On the other hand he lamented that Pakistan has begun the vaccination process against coronavirus late, and the process would have to be speeded up now.
He said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) started a good motive by handing out loans to several businesses for payment of employee salaries and in various cases the loans were rearranged for the purpose.
