By increasing the number of flights it operates to Jeddah, AirSial has made significant progress in its international endeavours. The airline will begin operations with two flights per week from Sialkot and five flights per week each from Multan and Karachi.

Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, the UAE consul general in Karachi, and Fazal Jilani, the chairman of AirSial, launched the airline’s first international flight in a significant ceremony at Sialkot International Airport.

A simple yet elegant ceremony that featured a symbolic cake-cutting gesture graced the occasion. Respected representatives from AirSial and Sialkot International Airport were also present, heightening the significance of the event.

Al-Rumaithi expressed his sincere gratitude to AirSial’s chairman and the entire staff for their contributions to the airline’s successful expansion of its international flight operations.

He praised the development and emphasised that the introduction of foreign airlines was yet another outstanding accomplishment after the business community of Sialkot had built an international airport.

The UAE Consul General shared his reflections on his own experience, saying, “I have travelled with AirSial, and my experience was nothing short of excellent.”

Following its entry into domestic aviation on December 25, 2020, when it introduced Airbus A320-200 aircraft to serve the Karachi-Islamabad route, AirSial now has international operations. Three Airbus A320-200 aircraft made up the fleet’s initial lineup.

Members of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry conceptualised the airline, which has since been granted authorised airline status and quickly emerged as a significant force in the aviation sector.
