Munaza Hasan talked about violations in Kashmir

Chairperson Women’s Parliamentary Caucus and the National Assembly Standing Committee on Climate Change Munaza Hassan has stated that there has been constant violation of human rights in Kashmir and it’s the outer world that should take notice of it and do something to stop it.

She said: “Silence by the international community reflects its biased policies, which must be condemned,” She stated this when she was in conversation with some of the senior journalists at a function hosted that she hosted here at the Parliament House. Munaza also talked about the need of implementation of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change for the future generations.

She further stated: “The women of Kashmir are facing brutalities but the world is silent on their plight.” According to her, people living in kashmir and facing the violations were in need of and demanded freedom. Munaza emphasized that there is a need to make the parliamentary committees effective and practicable as these are an essential part of parliament. She said the world is looking at the climate change with worries
