With immediate effect, the Board of Directors of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PSX: PTC) has named Dr. Ahmed Mujtaba Memon as a Director and Navid Ahmed Shaikh as the new Chairman.
According to a stock filing, Mohsin Mushtaq Chandna (chairman) and Dr. Iram Anjum Khan (director) resigned from the Board of Directors on March 29, 2023, following a change in the company’s management, with new appointments taking effect that same day.
The following individuals make up the company’s new board of directors:
Directors Abdulrahim A. Al Nooryani, Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh, Hatem Dowidar, Ahmed Mujtaba Memon, Mikhail Gerchuk, Mohamed Karim Bennis, Ahad Khan Cheema, and Burak Sevilengul are joined by Chairman Navid Ahmed Shaikh (Director)
The company’s stock price was Rs. 5.6 at the time of filing, down 0.18 percent or Rs. 0.01, with a Wednesday share volume of 88,000.
