Pakistan cricket board has announced that the remaining matches of Pakistan super league (PSL) will be played in November at Gaddafi stadium Lahore.
The four remaining matches of the league were left on hold due to coronavirus pandemic on March 17.
The dates announced by the board to hold the matches are 14th, 15th, and 17th November.
The qualifier and eliminator will be decided and the final match will be held on 17th November to finalize the trophy holder of PSL 2020.
Covid-19 protocols will be considered while holding the matches. The dates of the matches are held after discussion and consultation with the playing four team including Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan sultans. For now it has been decided that matches will played behind closed doors.
Wasim Khan stated “This announcement puts speculations to bed and provides absolute clarity and ample time for teams to plan and prepare for these crunch matches.It was important at this stage to state our intent and lock these dates in the diary in the best interest of the teams and the tournament”
He further added “The PCB was always keen and committed to hosting the remaining four matches as it believed an event of the magnitude of the HBL Pakistan Super League deserved a winner”
