With the introduction of its Digital Islamabad Project, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is starting an innovative venture with the goal of revolutionising the administrative and technological environment of the city. Nauman Khalid, a Grade 19 officer, has been chosen to head CDA’s new Technology and Digitization division for the purpose of this initiative.

Nauman Khalid, who formerly held the position of Director of Technical at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), brings an abundance of expertise to his new position. His knowledge of technology and digitization is anticipated to be crucial in changing CDA’s business procedures and offerings.

Nauman Khalid will work closely with the top leadership of CDA in his new role as the Deputy Director of Technical to execute cutting-edge solutions and promote innovation across the entire organisation.

The complete digitization of all CDA records and offices is one of the main tenets of the Digital Islamabad Project. It is anticipated that this shift to a paperless system will simplify operations, increase accessibility, and guarantee the accuracy and security of data.

“The creation of the CDA’s Department of Technology and Digitization is a significant advancement in the modernization of our city’s administration. We are confident that, with Nauman Khalid in charge, we can use technology to deliver more effective and customer-focused services, said the CDA representative.

The project aims to maximise results by integrating a variety of current and future projects in Islamabad with cutting-edge technology. The CDA hopes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its operations while also establishing new benchmarks for urban development by welcoming modern digital technologies.

The launch of online complaint services, which will make it convenient for residents to express their complaints and feedback, is one of the advantages that citizens can anticipate from the Digital Islamabad Project. The department will also keep a close eye on social media platforms to address problems and inform the public about CDA’s actions and advancements.
