After the reopening of schools as a result of closure due to global pandemic, the Punjab government has now issued a new timetable for all schools in Punjab whether it is a public school or a private one, all schools have to follow the schedule.
The schedule has to be followed by those schools as well which are running a double shift of academic sessions.
For the single shift schools, the timings issued are 8.30am to 1.30pm from Monday to Saturday. On Friday the schools will be closed off at 12.15pm whereas for the schools who have a double shift will follow the timings as follow
- First shift- 8.15am to 12.15pm
- Second shift- 1pm to 4.3pm
- For Friday- 2pm to 5pm
While maintaining social distancing, there will be a 10 min allotted time for recess except for Fridays.
