The education boards of Punjab have announced a decision today that they will not be taking any practical examination during the final board examinations in the academic year ahead, 2021.
During a meeting held today of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC), this decision was made. Nine boards from all over Punjab were present during the meeting and the whole situation was analyzed and reviewed.
Different proposals were discussed amidst the schools closure due to the second wave of pandemic in the country.
The official statement said that theoretical exams will be taken in the year 2021, but no practical exams will be conducted due to the ongoing pandemic.
This decision has been made after the number of cases started rising in the country amidst the second wave of coronavirus and the government announced to close schools from November 26th till the beginning of next year i.e. 10th January.
