As a result of successful initial matches of the PSL 2021, National Command Operation Center (NCOC) has made the decision to permit 50% of the stadium capacity to be occupied with crowd. Before this, only 20% of the stadium capacity was permissible to be occupied. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had demanded from the provincial governments and the NCOC to permit crowd to come in the stadium. Their appeal was considered positively as NCOC believed it to be safe for some audiences to spectate the action of PSL 2021 from the stadium.

Based on the earlier guidelines, only 7,500 fans were permitted inside the National Stadium Karachi, while 5,500 were permitted at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The number of spectators will rise to approximately 17,000 and 13,000 correspondingly.

According to sources, maximum audience will be permitted for the playoffs and finals, arranged to be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The playoffs will be played on 18, 19, and 20 March and the final match on the other hand will take place on 22 March. All the tournament teams are fighting it out to finish in one of the top four spots in tournament
