Previous England skipper-turned-commentator David Gower will also be among those foreign cricketers who have been selected for commentary panel for the HBL PSL6 2021. The tournament is all set to begin this week on 21st February in the National Stadium Karachi.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the official commentary panel for the month long tournament as of today.
According to the press release: “Pakistani commentators synonymous with the league including Bazid Khan, Ramiz Raja, Sana Mir and Urooj Mumtaz will be doing bi-lingual commentary while renowned Urdu commentator Tariq Saeed and Sikandar Bakht will be part of the panel as Urdu commentators,”
Other than Gower there are more foreign commentators as well who will be joining the league including Simon Doull, Pommie Mbangwa, JP Duminy, Danny Morrison, Dominic Cork, and Alan Wilkins.
On the other hand, the previous England skipper and Danny Morrision will only be joining the commentary panel for the Karachi leg of the tournament.
Gower isn’t the only person coming as a PSL commentator for the first time. Simon Doull and previous South African all-rounder JP Duminy will also be joining the commentary panel for the first time. The PCB stated that Duminy and Mbangwa will come to the commentary box for the second leg that is in Lahore.
The official press release further added: The HBL PSL 6 will be produced with a 30 + camera setup, the production will be Full HD, while the majority of the lenses will be 4K for extra sharpness of the pictures,”
