In Kolkata on Sunday, the members of the Pakistan cricket team accepted their central contracts as they prepared for the pivotal October 31 ICC World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh.

The players will get paid in the next few days after signing their contracts, based on the information provided.

It has been reported by the media that Pakistani athletes have not received their salaries for the previous five months.

The players and the board were unable to legally sign the contracts since they came to an agreement on the terms of the central contracts on the day the squad was supposed to leave for India for the World Cup, according to a PCB official in Pakistan.

After signing a physical copy of the contract and awaiting payment until the PCB completes the last few requirements, each player will now get their wages.

Disagreements over specific issues between the players and the board delayed the signing of the central contracts.

An unprecedented offer that included a portion of the ICC’s profits was made to the players. It included a significant payment increase. Furthermore, contracts for white-ball and red-ball have been combined.
