The people of Pakistan were expected to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr on March 31 (Monday).
According to details, the Shawwal moon will be visible at 03:58 pm on March 29. The meetings of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held on March 29 and March 30. During the meeting, the age of moon will be 27 hours.
The Pakistan Metrological Department had said that the moon can be seen till one hour.
Mentioning about the temperature in Karachi on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the met office said the temperature will remain up to 37 degrees Celsius in the Sindh’s provincial capital.
Due to the moisture in the air, the city will witness scorching heat during Eid.
