PM Imran Khan has connected the sensitive issue of Pakistan’s recognizing the state of Israel to the resolution of Palestine issue. He has made this clear that Pakistan will not recognize Israel until the issue of Palestine has been resolved.
On the eve of completing two years of his government, Imran Khan talked about this during an interview with Dunya news channel. He said “We by no means can recognize Israel, as Pakistan’s founding father Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had clearly stated in 1948 that Pakistan would not recognize Israel until and unless issue of Palestine state will not be resolved,”
He further stated “The case of Palestinians is similar to people of Kashmir and their [Palestinians] rights have been snatched and been suffering Israeli atrocities.”
