According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), a technical issue was the reason behind the suspension of internet services throughout the nation on Saturday night.
The telecom watchdog stated in a post on X that the issue has been “promptly rectified” and that internet connectivity has been entirely restored across the country.
It is important to note that social media sites stopped working at 6:45 p.m. and remained unavailable until 10:00 p.m.
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (previously Twitter), and Facebook are a few of the social media sites that experience interruption in Pakistan. This was the third occasion in a little more than a month that social media sites in the nation had a brief outage.
