In a vicious incident, the flatmate of a Pakistani student studying in Oslo, Norway, tragically killed him.
The incident happened On July 3 when the victim, a 27-year-old student at the University of South-Eastern Norway pursuing a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, suffered a fatal stabbing by his Sri Lankan flatmate.
The victim, who had immigrated to Norway in 2021 with hopes for a bright future, had just received his Master’s degree and was living in a flat in Oslo’s Vestli district.
When they heard the noise, worried neighbours called the police, who quickly arrived on the scene and arrested the offender. The murder’s cause is still a mystery at this point.
Students now feel afraid and uneasy as a result of this shocking incident. The body of the deceased has been returned to Pakistan for burial, and his distraught parents are eagerly awaiting receiving their departed son’s mortal remains. They are pleading with the Norwegian governance to make sure that justice is done.
Additional information is anticipated to be made public as soon as the police finish their investigation into the incident.
