The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), Punjab has given a go ahead to bring down some of the lockdown restrictions and directed to reopen recreational parks, swimming pools and water sports in all the areas where the positivity rate is below 5pc. “The order shall come into force w.e.f. May 30, 2021 within the territorial limits of Punjab and shall remain in force till June 15, 2021”. Based on a notification given out yesterday, the P&SHD directed that the amusement parks, swimming pools and water sports would be permitted to be open in 26 districts where positivity rate is below 5 percent, along with the implementation of SOPs to prevent Covid-19 outspread.
Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Lahore, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Sheikhupura and Sialkot are among thse 26 districts.
The P&SHD gave out the SOPs along with the notification to lessen the lockdown restrictions for all entertainment services and directed to work at 50 percent capacity.
