The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has announced today that they will be marching towards the capital on March 26. On their way to Islamabad during the march there will be rallies joining them.
While talking through a press conference, the PDM leaders, including the union’s chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the announcement that it would fight in the Senate elections together.
The PDM chief, Maulana Fazl addressed the press conference and stated that the Opposition had postponed the decision of no-confidence signal against Prime Minister Imran Khan. This was a decision that the PML-N and PPP have discussed about openly.
Talking about the government’s decision to hold Senate elections through open ballot, he stated that the PDM has noticed that the reason behind it might be Prime Minster Imran Khan’s lack of confidence in his associates.
He said that the ruling PTI has an aim to make such people senators who were disliked among the party’s ranks.
