At Masjid-e-Nabwi in Madina on Saturday night, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered prayers for the Ummrah and the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
The prime minister made a quick stop at the Prophet’s mosque on his three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
He travelled to Medina on PIA aircraft PK 859 from Lahore with a party of thirty-one individuals, which included Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The Prime Minister had the honour of attending Roza-e-Rasool SAW and offered Isha prayer and Nawafal at Masjid Nabawi.
He prayed specifically for the Ummah and the people of Pakistan. In his prayers, the prime minister paid tribute to the persecuted Muslims of Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is on his first overseas trip since taking office. He is anticipated to see Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz during his visit to the Kingdom, which ends on April 8.
