Rain or not, Pakistan Super League season nine action gets underway with Match 20 between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi scheduled for Rawalpindi Stadium on Monday.
Peshawar Zalmi is currently ranked third in the points standings, one spot behind Islamabad United as number four.
United wants to go on with the match following the postponement of their last one. The squad is fielding a number of formidable players, including Munro, Hales, and Agha Salman, for today’s match.
Munro is still making runs at this level and enters this match having struck 71 and 82 in their last two games, but Agha Salman is still undefeated in the cricket league.
Zalmi, on the other hand, started a fresh winning streak and was invincible in prior games. Babar Azam’s team is hoping to win today’s match after dominating the previous ones.
The Pindi Stadium pitch is probably going to be a little bit humid, which will help the speed bowlers in this game more. But it’s not raining today.
