In Imran Khan’s absence, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has begun its election campaign and has chosen an unusual approach to reach out to people before the 2024 elections.
Imran Khan’s PTI will host another online rally this Wednesday, this time on TikTok, the well-known short video sharing platform that is used by over 48 million people in Pakistan, following its first-ever virtual political rallies.
PTI said that a live TikTok rally will take place at 9 p.m. today, inspiring supporters to make history once more.
Thousands of party supporters attended the two virtual Jalsas that PTI previously staged, which were broadcast on social media and streaming websites in spite of internet outages.
Remarkably, Imran Khan, who has been incarcerated since August of last year, gave remarks composed by artificial intelligence at PTI virtual rallies.
According to rumours, TikTok is unsure of how the social app protest will play out.
