The Punjab provincial education department said that all schools would reopen on February 1, 2024, at normal times.
The province’s schools will return to their regular timetables on January 31, officially ending the winter schedule, according to the education administration.
The education administration declared earlier this month that the winter schedule for schools across the province will be extended through January 31st.
The letter states that the province’s winter schedule extensions for public and private schools will last until January 31, 2024. Timings will return to normal on February 1, 2024.
In other developments, rumours circulating on social media suggest that the February 8 general election may force schools all around the nation to close for more than a week.
According to sources, schools will be closed on Sunday, February 4, and on February 5 in observance of Kashmir Day. After that, they are anticipated to be closed from February 6 to February 10 for the election.
In addition, schools will remain closed on Sunday, February 11, and reopen on Tuesday, February 12. Officials haven’t yet confirmed these stories, though.
