Quetta Gladiators to play remaining PSL matches without Anwar Ali

Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Quetta Gladiators is facing yet another setback as their all-rounder, Anwar Ali will now won’t be able to be part of the sixth season of PSL as a result of being a positive for covid.

Previously, Quetta Gladiators’ fast bowler, Naseem Shah’s name was taken out of the team’s draft as he had breached the covid standard operating protocols (SOPs)

Whereas Anwar Ali, has been moved to the isolation center in Karachi, in the hotel where all the players are having their stay. He will have stay there in isolation for ten days and will only be coming out of there after testing negative twice for the virus.

Quetta gave out an official statement that made certain the unfortunate news. The statement read, “The Quetta Gladiators all-rounder, Anwar Ali, has tested positive for COVID-19. He is already in isolation in Karachi.”

Players and staff members of all the franchises will be travelling to Abu Dhabi on 26 May through chartered flights to participate in the left matches of PSL 6. The players and staff members will have to stay in isolation for a few days and will proceed towards training sessions after results come out negative
